According to the Dutch Secret Service, Hizb ut-Tahrir regards itself "not yet strong enough to use violence" in the struggle for Islamic world domination.

Now, the effects of this demographic shock wave are starting to set in. In October, the same Rotterdam city council made news when some members complained not to be able to understand their fellow councillors.

If anything horrible happens as a result of Geert Wilders' film Fitna, the Dutch government is to be held responsible. What I mean is that, aside from taking care of PR, they show a spineless stance on what is allowed in our country. I will make some edits to my letter as it is quite personal but I would like to share some aspects of it with you here.

Reading all of these comments brought tears to my eyes. I can't believe what the world has come to. Such ignorance and intolerance? Many people believe that what is occuring is a clash of civilizations, a clash of the western and eastern civilizations. That's completely untrue. The clash is of ignorance. Alot of western society is very quick to judge. How can you understand or judge Islam just based on a few examples? Have you heard of the Aga Khan and the Ismailis? Do you even know about the differences between Shias and Sunnis? Do you know that most scientific discoveries were made by Muslim scientists or that it was in Iran and Iraq that the first written language was developed? The West doesn't understand the East and nor does the East understand the West. Eastern societies don't judge the West based on western terrorists so then why does the west do that? The sad thing is that not even many Muslims know enough about Islam. THese are the same ignorant Muslims who tarnish the name of Islam and other Muslims by excusing their greedy and ruthless activities through ISlam. The Quran does not tell anyone to kill anyone except if it is to defend yourself. Yet many people who're quite uneducated go around behaving like Islam has given them the lisence to be intolerant, rape, and kill people. This is not the case. Western society also views Islam as a women oppressing faith. This is also not true. Islam was the first faith to give women rights by giving divorced and widowed women rights on property and wealth. It was way ahead of its time. Nowhere in the Quran does it say for women to wear hijabs and abayas. All it says is that men and women must at all times maintain modesty. It is ignorant Muslims who've misinterpreted this, but not all Muslims. Research the Shia Ismaili Muslims. I suggest you do your research before you spread such intolerance and hatred.
